About this deal

The Dreamer is warmer, less aromatic, more resinous, and sweeter, making it more suitable for the colder months and evenings in my opinion. To my nose smells very similar, if not exactly like the vintage formula I wore in the 90’s and early 2000’s. I just dont understand why it seems every designer fragrance does not last as long as fragrances made just 5 years ago. The scent opens with a stimulating and dynamic freshness, with the citrus notes of bergamot, tangerine, orange and lemon and the woody end note hinges on an accord of sandalwood, cedar wood and tobacco musk.

Overall a great perfume especially when combined fragrance of cigarette and this fragrance on my clothes. Vintage scent users may be disappointed but I have no complaints as a fresh user of the current version. I loved it but it was a bit to masculine but layering it with a vanilla lotion (vs bare vanilla golden is my go to right now) takes some of the sharpness out of it and makes it smooth and cozy. The dry down is also amazing though as the tobacco becomes the main player alongside the tonka and cedar making this smell very refined, fresh and rich !in a box on a card table on a driveway along a street in a city in a state in a country on a planet twirling around because it isn't flat. Both are wonderful, fantastic office scents: light citrus, neroli, lavender, fresh soap, sage, and slight pepper in the background. Due to its freshness it can be used all year around night or day, but it is best during transitional seasons and winter. As someone who has been enjoying this fragrance for as long as I have, I cant tell you that, even though there are some mild (very mild) differences between this and the original 1994-2011 formulation, the differences are negligible.

I can spray this without thinking if it will be suitable for any occasion, when i want to smell more serious but a similar vibe i go for penhaligon's sartorial. The fragrance opens with lively notes of Italian lemon, giving way to hints of tarragon and orange blossom. However, if you spray it on clothing, it lasts quite a bit longer and has a fresh out of the dryer quality. It might not stack up against some of the newbies on the scene for longevity and sillage, but if you’ve been around as long as the early 70s, this still deserves a place in your top 10. Each perfume, Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, Eau de Cologne or Eau de Solid is made with fragrance oils and alcohol. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates. This is a true 90's holdover (like Acqua Di Gio), but in my mind it's a classic, even though the scent doesn't last as long as some would like. This is the same kind of fragrance as fierce, piercing citrus to start and drying down to something quite boring, i will wear it in the summer to use it up as its not strong enough for the winter, the base does last a good 5hrs but its not strong enough to be noticed or be any use, i fell for the hype and got burned again.

Made in France version, batch code 0069HM, March 2020 made bottle, 125ml,brand new, absolutely legitimate product. It smells like 1970's expensive soaps(the kind I was never allowed to touch while on display in my mother's bathroom). decent projection on my skin, idk what people are talking about, maybe it is way weaker than the OG Italian but I'd have to try it out, still a great fragrance. To my nose it smells a 90% similar as the 1994 Made in Italy (just that tobacco is not as prominent). Finally, as the fragrance dries down, the tobacco becomes more prominent and it comes up with a woody tone from cedar, along with sweet Tonka.

I’m wearing this in the colder months and it still stands up to the cold with good projection and sillage.

Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer. Please read the full reviews and consider your own needs and preferences before making a purchasing decision. Quick errand, fresh out the shower, chilling around the house, work, any day, any time, hot weather, or cool, this works in any occasion.the last phase is pretty much the same as the middle stage but more feint, make no mistake if your body heats up even in 6-8 hour mark people will smell it on you. I always use it to layer on top of perfumes that are too sweet and feminine for my tastes, and it gives them a lot of depth.
