Until his final days, he was still collecting outrageous amounts of music from around the world, galaxies removed from the New Romantic and new wave sounds that, to many, still define him.The deluxe CD and LP sets go deep, including songs that were in movies but didn’t make it onto official soundtracks — like The Rave Ups‘ “Positively Lost Me” (from Pretty in Pink), Propaganda’s “Abuse” (from Some Kind of Wonderful), The Revillos‘ “Rev Up! I love John Hughes 80s movies and as soon as I saw the words Rhythm of Life from Uncle Buck and Holiday Road from National Lampoon's Vacation I knew I had to have this album.
